Dishwasher Care
Dishwasher-cleaning tablets and treatments — reviewed against the mainstream dishwasher-cleaner category, not just avoided-repair marketing.
Most products in this category work the same basic way: a solid tablet dissolves during a normal wash cycle, carrying cleaning agents through the filter, spray arms, pump, and hoses that a regular load of dishes doesn't fully reach — the same idea behind established grocery-store names like Affresh or Finish Dishwasher Cleaner. The honest question for any specific product isn't whether that mechanism works, it's whether the formula and dosing actually deliver, and how transparent the seller is about what's inside the tablet.
Where the marketing tends to outrun the evidence: vague reliability language ("rigorous research and testing") with no lab or study named, ingredient lists that stop at "biodegradable" without naming an active ingredient, and returns policies that are linked but not spelled out on the product page itself. We flag those gaps in the review rather than repeating them as fact.
