Portable Heating Gadgets
Compact space heaters and personal heating gadgets — reviewed for real-world heating performance, safety features, and noise, not just marketing claims.
These are compact electric heaters built around a ceramic PTC (positive temperature coefficient) element and a small fan, with a thermostat and — on the better ones — genuine tip-over and overheat safety cutoffs. That's straightforward, checkable hardware, and the safety features are worth taking seriously rather than treating as a checkbox spec.
Where the marketing tends to get ahead of the hardware is coverage area: a personal ceramic heater realistically warms somewhere around 100–150 square feet, not an open-plan living room, no matter what the sales page's square-footage claim says. The other pattern worth watching for is self-reported "#1 rated" badges and review counts — these come from the seller's own page, not an independent ratings body, unless it's explicitly linked to one you can check.
