Produce Washers
Ionic and ozone fruit-and-vegetable cleaning gadgets — reviewed for real electrochemistry and honest residue-removal claims, not just the sales page.
A produce washer's core claim is mostly checkable chemistry: is the cleaning mechanism (ionic electrolysis, ozone, ultrasonic agitation) real and established, or an invented "molecular" buzzword with nothing behind it. What's harder to verify is the degree of removal — most of these sales pages substitute a visual demonstration (a color change, bubbling water) for actual lab-tested residue data, which is worth flagging rather than repeating as proof. What's worth comparing across models: the underlying mechanism, cycle time, waterproofing rating, ongoing cost (chemicals or refills versus plain water), and whether the manufacturer publishes a price and return policy up front.
